Gabriel Mayers is a singer/songwriter who got his start in music by playing in the subways of New York City, busking full time. In 2014, Gabriel was invited to Hollywood by Grammy Award Nominee Linda Perry to star in VH1's reality series "Make or Break: The Linda Perry Project," which focused on emerging songwriters. During this experience, Gabriel had the opportunity to meet Courtney Love, who resonated deeply with his music. His journey continued in 2016 when he appeared in Oscar Nominee Josh Fox’s HBO documentary, "How to Let Go of the World (and Love All the Things Climate Can’t Change)." Following this exposure, Gabriel embarked on a nationwide tour, sharing his unique sound with audiences across the country. That same year, Gabriel’s original song, ‘Sixty Charisma Scented Blackbirds,’ achieved a remarkable feat by making it onto the Academy Awards shortlist for Best Original Song.
