BET’s TD Jakes 35th Anniversary special will use “Strong Man” and “They That Wait”.

“Strong Man”, co-written by Missing Link’s own Donavan Jackson, was originally recorded by gospel singer Shirley Caesar. The song originally appeared on her 1997 album, A Miracle in Harlem.

“They That Wait”, co-written by Missing Link’s own Calvin Rodgers & Phillip Feaster, was originally recorded by gospel singer Fred Hammond. The song originally appeared on his 2009 album, Love Unstoppable.
